To enable business students in order to communicate effectively in all the business situations in English language, there is a separate business English course offered at general English course. In this course, students are encouraged to apply their business knowledge along with their experience. In this business English, students will have many things to do. There will be face to face meetings, meetings through phone, memos, faxes and letter, reports and summaries, about work place, money matters, import and export, visits and travel, delivery and after sales, operations and processes, meetings, working together and a special project. Special projects at the course end so that he/she can get accessed on how they have improved in their English language.
Before enrolling into this course at general English course, you have to write an initial placement test. During the course there will be continuous assessments on progress and performance, monthly assessment test on students’ progress and at last there will be one final test to assess students at the course end. Progress of each student will be discussed by tutors with each student after each assessment. If students are finding hard in some courses, special attention will be given towards such students.
